The City of Highland Park invites proposals from experienced and qualified theatre or
performance companies interested in leasing space in the Karger Recreation Center.
The property is located at 1850 Green Bay Road. A west portion of the Center is
occupied by a nursery school and day care center. The middle portion of the Center is
occupied by a rhythmic gymnastics center. The east portion of the Center is available
for lease and formally housed the Music Theatre Company. In total the site is
approximately 5,300 square feet, with the theater space being about 1,100 square feet.
Total available area includes two office spaces totaling 1,500 square feet, a storage
room of 900 square feet and a rehearsal space of 1,700 square feet. The theatre does
not currently have any seats or lighting.
