On Monday, July 13, friends, acquaintances, and admirers of Russ Tutterow will gather to honor his profound legacy and influence on their personal and professional lives and on the theatre in Chicago and across the country.
The memorial service will take place in the Albert Goodman auditorium at the Goodman Theatre, 170 N. Dearborn Street in Chicago. Doors to the theatre will open at 6:00 p.m., and the service will begin promptly at 6:30.
How You Can Participate
Per Russ’s request, the evening will be dedicated to sharing by those (anyone, really) who knew him and felt his influence in their life and/or career. And we’ve created four different ways that people can participate, by:
• Recording and submitting a short video testimonial
• Bringing a memorial artifact for display
• Offering written reflections to be read from the stage
• Sharing a personal memory or story—live
