If you are curious about opening up communication about art-making, and want practice in a process that will inform your creative work and enhance your conversations about artistic works and processes then join us for this special workshop with Liz Lerman.
Liz Lerman's Critical Response Process advances the development of artistic works-in-progress through a four-step, facilitated dialogue between artists, peers, and audiences. In use for over 20 years, the Process has been enthusiastically embraced by artists, educators, and administrators at theater companies, dance centers, orchestras, museums and universities. The Process has opened new awareness and capabilities for deeper dialogue and learning between artists and audiences, teachers and students. Any combination of people who communicate about creative endeavors can benefit from the Critical Response Process.
The originator of the process, choreographer Liz Lerman, will introduce the Process and demonstrate its application to real works-in-progress.Through a lively series of exercises she will illuminate its inner workings, core principles, and diverse uses.
