Goodman Theatre hosts Prop Giveaway for Chicago Theatre Community

GOODMAN THEATRE HOSTS A PROP GIVEAWAY FOR THE CHICAGO THEATRE COMMUNITY ON APRIL 5, 9AM-1PM
For the first time in seven years, the Goodman gives away select prop pieces and costumes from its past productions to directors, designers, actors and theater artisans working in the Chicago performing arts community. Every item is offered completely free of charge on Saturday, April 5 starting at 9am (until supplies last) at the Goodman Scene Shop (363 W. Pershing Road). Stand-out items include Chita Rivera’s sedan chair from The Visit (1990/1991); a shoe shine bench from Hughie (2004/2005); the chandelier from Turn of the Century (2008/2009); the chaise from The Seagull (2010/2011); the pouf from Stage Kiss (2010/2011) two train seats from Pullman Porter Blues (2013/2014); and many more.
