Discounted retreats - Bright Angel Retreat is a four-bedroom house on 5 acres that will serve performing artist of all kinds, community members and neighborhood children with workshops and opportunities for creating work, developing ensemble, exploring leadership and other issues that affect successful collaborations. The space will be available for individuals, groups large and small to meet and retreat for health and creativity, to celebrate special events and there will be limited opportunities for informal theatre, dance and music performances. Director Susan Padveen, a long-time Harbor country resident and Chicago artist and educator, looks forward to guests enjoying the peace and quiet of the area as they develop work, administrative structures and get a little r & r.
