Citadel Theatre’s 1st Annual Ten Minute Play Festival

Citadel Theatre proudly announces our first 10 Minute Play Contest!

All submissions will be read by a panel of judges comprised of professional theater artists.

Awards: First place: $350, second place: $100 and third place prize of $50.

The top 10 plays will be included in Citadel Theatre’s 1st Annual Ten Minute Play Festival.

Submission Details 
• Script maximum page count- 20 pages
• $5 Submission Fee (due at time of submission)
• Submisson Deadline: May 15, 2018
• Multiple Submissions Allowed (Up to 3 scripts maximum)
• The top 10 scripts will be announced on our website on June 21, 2018.

Submission Guidelines
1. Title Page: Please include your name, address, phone number, email address and a brief biography.
2. Submissions must be original, unpublished 10-minute plays written in English. Adaptations are accepted: playwright must show proof of rights held unless source text is in the public domain.
3. No professionally produced or published scripts. Plays that have had a workshop, reading, or non-professional production are eligible.
4. Scripts under option or scheduled for a professional production or publication at the time of submission are not eligible.
5. Plays must be sent as a Microsoft Word document or PDF file to submissions@citadeltheatre.org by May 15, 2018
6. $5 administrative fee for each submission may be paid online by clicking here. Or mail a $5 administrative fee via check to: Citadel Theatre Company, 825 S. Waukegan Road, A8 PMB123, Lake Forest, IL 60045. (If mailing- please include your contact info & script title)
All administrative fees are applied towards the administration of this contest.
