Artists Helping Artists. Family helping Family
On April 9, 2018 Season of Concern will present “Cabaret for Care” at The Goodman Theatre, hosted by E. Faye Butler and Honey West. The annual benefit features a fun-filled evening of song and theatre and the presentation of the annual Larry Sloan Awards, which are awarded to local organizations and individuals who have made a significant contribution to Season of Concern.
Our mission is simple. Season of Concern raises funds to provide compassionate care to those in the Chicagoland community who are experiencing the effects of catastrophic illness. This effort supports the fight against HIV/AIDS by contributing to direct-care support programs and directly assists theatre community members (Equity and Non-Equity) experiencing health-related emergencies and life-threatening medical issues.
I am writing to you in the hopes that your company will be able to help us raise monetary support by donating a prize to our raffle and auction. Theatre tickets, merchandise (caps, T-shirts, mugs) with your logo would be very helpful and one of a kind items (cast autographed scripts or posters for example) would be especially appreciated. Your generosity would be recognized in our program. Perhaps you can do more? If you donate a full subscription series (or any combination of gifts that retail for more than $150) we will include you as a special donor for the event. Special donors not only receive program recognition, but will also be thanked from the stage and featured on screens throughout the event.
This is a great way to engage new and enthusiastic patrons for your business. Should you be able to support our fundraising efforts, please contact michael@seasonofconcern.org or call me at 312-332-0518. Thank you for your consideration.
We are here for you!
