VOCAL STAMINA & SPEECH with KENDRA KARGENIAN
In this 6 week class you will begin to rediscover, or awaken the power of supported breath and speech. Through Fitzmaurice Voicework®, you will be reminded/retaught how to continuously have supported breath which then becomes supported speech. The class will also have RP dialect work, a very useful tool for every actor to have in his/her back pocket.
Conducted over 6 Mondays beginning January 6th and going through February 17th from 7:00 - 9:00 pm this class will be held at The Clare, located at 55 East Pearson, Chicago, 60611 (located behind the Water Tower on Rush at Pearson), easily reached by bus.

ABOUT KENDRA KARGENIAN
Kendra Kargenian (Dialect Coach) is thrilled to be working with Dead Writers Theatre Collective again. Kendra has coached voice and dialects for seven years. She is an Assistant Teacher of Fitzmaurice Voicework® and has studied all over the world. She graduated from Western Michigan University with a degree in performance, but has turned her sights to the world of voice. Kendra is a the Logistics Director and a founding member of Strange Bedfellows Theatre, here in the city. Previous production credits include: ROOMS: A Rock Romance (Broken Nose Theatre), Tea with Edie and Fitz (Dead Writers Theatre Collective), and Howard Zinn's EMMA (New Suit Theatre).
