Why must you have a board? What are the expectations of an ensemble’s board? How do you get a board to do what you want them to do?

This one hour session is specifically designed to look at how boards work, how ensembles can make the best use of their board of directors, and how to manage some of the particular challenges ensembles face with their boards. The ideal participants are ensemble members wanting to make sure they are making strategic choices about board structures and roles, or companies that are just thinking about becoming a 501(c)(3) and wanting to know how a board functions.
