The House Theatre of Chicago is pleased to invite members of Chicago's theatre community to visit their new headquarters, located at 4020 N Rockwell St. This informal "Open House" will take place Saturday, May 12, 2018. Drop in anytime between 5:00 and 9:00 pm to mingle and tour the new facility that includes a rehearsal hall and scene shop, both of which are available to rent, as well as a costume shop, storage and administrative offices.

New Black Ensemble Theater Cultural Center Open House

The Black Ensemble Theater is celebrating its 35th anniversary and the Grand Opening of the New Black Ensemble Theater Cultural Center! A local treasure, a national wonder and an international success best describe the dynamic organization that is the Black Ensemble Theater. Founded in 1976, by the phenomenal producer, playwright and actress Jackie Taylor, Black Ensemble Theater has grown from a small community arts organization to a nationally and internationally renowned strong arts institution.

Stage 773 Open House

Stage 773 staff has taken their hard hats off and ear plugs out. Construction has finished and Stage 773 is reopened with a full slate of shows (every night night the week!) in our newly renovated theaters!

We are very excited and want to invite you, our theater friends and family, to see what we've been up to the last three months! Please join us in celebrating the new Stage 773.
