The Grafting Project at Chicago Dramatists is part of our effort to promote Resident Playwrights and collaborate with peer organizations. Theatrical organizations interested in producing a play by a current Chicago Dramatists resident playwright can apply for a Grafting Project. If the organization is approved, Chicago Dramatists provides the company five weeks of free theatre rental, valued at over $5000. Applications for the 2017/2018 season will be accepted starting September 1, 2016 and can be found here. The submission period closes October 31, 2016.
