TUTA Fall Education Session

TUTA Theatre Chicago is pleased to continue to offer dynamic education opportunities to the Chicago community with the following 8-week courses this fall, held in our easily accessible new home steps from the Francisco Brown Line CTA stop.

For the advanced actor:
MASTER CLASS: Shakespeare Scene Study
Dr. Sharon Ammen, Instructor
Appropriate for actors with any Shakespeare experience, this course is an in-depth exploration of the Bard’s works and how voice, movement, and musicality of text influence performance. Students will learn to make Shakespeare’s language their own and to physically embody his characters through a number of exercises and in-depth text analysis. Work will progress from sonnets to scenes and culminate in monologues suitable for auditions.

For the first time in the history of TUTA:
TUTAtots: Animals in ACTion for 4-6 year olds
Company Member Helen Lattyak, Teacher
In this TUTA creative drama class, students will explore acting, singing, and basic movement, through the use of their imaginations, creativity, and lots of teamwork. Each student will have the chance to create their very own animal characters, learn songs, and lots of fun acting exercises.

The TUTA Fall Education Session runs October 20th through December 16th. For more information on the courses, including dates/times, tuition and registration info, and full instructor bios, please visit http://www.tutato.com/page/classes
