ACTOR-CHORUS-TEXT (ACT)
A unique theatre workshop with leading international physical theatre, voice & community practitioner Anna-Helena McLean, formerly of Poland's Gardzienice Centre for Theatre Practice and currently on tour in the US assisted by ACT ensemble actor, Anirudh Nair from Delhi. This workshop in Moon Fool's unique Actor - Chorus - Texrt (ACT) training uses breath and rhythm to awaken the ensemble. Partner and gesture exercises including some counterbalance and basic acrobatics help individuals to connect with one another and enter the physical drama. Participants are introduced to playful vocal exercises, brought to life in choral singing of gypsy and Balkan folk songs. Open to people from all backgrounds and nationalities.
