What's on Your Mind?
We are excited to announce that we're co-sponsoring the Chicago Theatre (anti) Conference this August 5-7 along with Theater Wit. We love being involved with just about any opportunity that brings members of the community together for networking and knowledge-sharing, so we were thrilled when Jeremy approached us about being a partner this year. Advance registration is open if you'd like to confirm your spot at the conference, but we're also looking for topic and speaker submissions right now. Speakers can attend the entire weekend conference for free and are encouraged to propose any subject of interest related to theatre in Chicago. Possible topics could include, but are not limited to: new work development, fundraising, audience building, online strategies, selling your work outside Chicago, grant applications, local government interactions, season programming, venue management, rental challenges, etc. More information about proposing a speaker or panel topic can be found here. It should be a fun and enlightening weekend so we hope to see you all there!
