Study of diversity and inclusion practices at American non-profit theatres

I'm currently working on my graduate capstone project, the final step in obtaining my master’s degree in Nonprofit Management from DePaul University’s School of Public Service! I am using this research as an opportunity to identify current diversity and inclusion practices and policies at nonprofit theatres nationally and to make industry recommendations that ensure our theatres remain diverse, accessible, and inclusive spaces for staff, artists, and patrons alike.

As part of research, I am distributing an anonymous, online survey to staff members of nonprofit theatres so they may share information and general opinions about their theatres’ policies and practices (no information can or will be traced back to the specific company). The survey is meant to be completed by individuals who are currently employed as staff members of a nonprofit theatre (meaning the organization is recognized as a 501(c)(3) by the IRS), and who are at least 18 years of age.
